January 2026 - New Year, New Me: Intentional Life Design

Quarter Life Crisis

A Note From Vivek:
January always brings pressure disguised as possibility.
New year. New goals. New me.
That familiar excitement: “This is my year. Big things are going to happen.”
I’ve always been someone who dreams big and sets big goals.
But for years, I noticed a pattern. I either didn’t reach them, or I kept shifting them. And eventually, I had to ask myself why.
The answer was simple, but uncomfortable:
I was obsessing over what I wanted to do and neglecting who I wanted to become.
When we anchor ourselves in who we’re becoming (our habits, values, identity) the outcomes tend to follow naturally. When we don’t, even the best goals start to feel heavy, forced, or meaningless.
So forget the revenue metrics.
The follower counts.
The weight goals.
2026 starts with a different question:
Who do you want to be?
For me, the answer is simple: healthy and wealthy — mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, and socially.
This year isn’t about chasing outcomes.
It’s about becoming and letting the outcomes unfold.
Focus on who you want to be.
Let what you achieve take care of itself.

Looking Back on 2025 — What We Built Together

As we step into 2026, it felt important to pause and reflect on what actually unfolded inside the QLC community this past year.

Five Major Takeaways from 2025

1️⃣ Confusion became clarity.
Members made bold, intentional career pivots, aligning work with deeper purpose rather than external pressure.

2️⃣ A paradigm shifted.
We stopped asking “What do I want to do?” and began asking “Who do I want to be?” — a change that quietly transformed everything else.

3️⃣ Community wins were unreal.
Magazine features, major business awards, speaking on massive stages, company launches, plus countless behind-the-scenes breakthroughs that mattered just as much.

4️⃣ We learned to live the work, not just think it.
Mental models (Be–Do–Have vs. Have–Do–Be) met real-world practices: daily mantras, routines, and embodied habits.

5️⃣ What started online became real life.
Members met IRL across cities, turning this community into something deeper: chosen family, not just a network.

Some of the Lessons We Explored in 2025

Over the course of the year, we went deep into ideas that shaped how we think, decide, and act:

  • The Art of the Reframe

  • Ikigai

  • Personality = Personal Reality

  • Say “I Do” to You

  • Values & Saboteurs

  • The Third Door Mindset

  • Biz Rizz

  • The Art of Goal Setting

  • Automatic Recurring Dialogue

  • Future Self Integration

What We Learned Together:
Be → Do → Have

Who you are shapes what you do.
What you do shapes what you have.
Not the other way around.

What The Data Is Saying

🔹 75% of 25–33-year-olds report experiencing a quarter-life crisis (LinkedIn + Censuswide)
🔹 The average onset age? 26
🔹 50%+ of young adults report feeling burned out before age 30
🔹 Google searches for “quarter-life crisis” have increased in the past decade
🔹 The American Psychological Association now recognizes the quarter-life period as a distinct mental-health risk window

“The quarter-life crisis often involves a breakdown in identity and a reevaluation of life direction. But it’s also a catalyst for personal growth.”
